I'm trying to install Ubuntu on my windows 8 pc (dual boot) but I cant boot from the DVD, I tried making a bootable USB but that doesn't work as well. I got into the bios and there are options to change the boot order, I put removable device first, CD/DVD-drive second, windows boot manager third and LAN fourth. That just didn't change anything. I used the boot menu, but the only option I have is to boot using the Windows boot manager.
I would like to be able to do this before Friday because I need to have Ubuntu by then. Hopefully someone will be able to help, I'm really desperate now :S
