I am buying a new pc, and came across one with an i7 Haswell and gtx 780 card. I was wondering if it was good for 1080p gaming on a single screen and how long it would last ( don't care about settings, Anything above medium graphics is enough)
It is hard to predict how much future proofing a card will provide, if you stay at 1080p I would imagine that you could keep that card for at least 4 years before any games will shove it below medium graphics to have a nice solid frame rate. (90% of AAA games I play on my 770 are on ultra/max with great FPS on my 1080p system I would imagine that 780 is better.)
