Hello, my HDD is failing on my Toshiba L675D and I need to replace it. I also want to upgrade the ram to the max of 8GB. Here are the original specs of the HDD and Ram.

Configured with 4GB DDR3 1066MHz (max 8GB)
2 main memory slots. Both slots occupied.
Storage Drive6
500GB (5400 RPM); Serial ATA hard disk drive
I am looking at these two options for the HDD and Ram up grade.

Will these work with this laptop? I use it for college where I am a IT student. I do a little web surfing and youtube videos and use some programs like visual basic, Voice thread, Corona. I have to do video chat as well so if these two will improve my performance that is great. I need to know ASAP because class starts today and I want to order and have this by Friday so I can install it. If you guys and gals have some better options please let me know. I'm not sure if I can go with a higher MHz on the ram or not but if so I will. Thanks!
