Hi there,

So I had a question before I will purchase any new graphics card.
In my previous post I asked about my pc can run watch dogs, so now I've read about the bottleneck on older cpus.

Before I go further here are my specs :

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2,4Ghz, But it running at 3,03Ghz
Club Radeon HD 6790 1GB
4GB ddr2 ram

So, I planned to buy myself a Gtx 660 from nvidia, but it seems that alot of people said the old cpu will bottleneck the newer gpu.

But! If I overclock it to (cpu) : 3,6Ghz does it still bottleneck the gpu much? or do I still get a big improvement overall and able to run BF/WD High Details? Maby Ultra?

New things I wanted to buy :

Nvidia gtx660 or MSI GeForce GTX 760 (But that one is too powerfull for now)

And for the cpu cooling (When overclocking to 3,6Ghz) :

CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 Evo (Socket 775)

BTW : I'm able to overclock my cpu with stock-cooler to 3,30 to 3,40Ghz MAX

Thanks for reading,

Regards,
