Hello,
I have a problem with my 4930k cpu.
I play battlefield 4 on a daily basis and when ever i play for about half an hour, my ASUS ROG FAN XPERT 2 and my corsair link tells me the cpu temperature is dangerously high.
It stays at around 95 degrees when only playing battlefield 4.
I believe it may be something with my Vcore settings which i have never changed before this problem occured.
I have the ASUS RAMPAGE IV FORMULA motherboard with a corsair h100i and 2x SP120 performance editions for pushing air.
I have 1x AF140 in the back of my corsair 550d.
1x SP120 performance edition in the bottom
1x SP120 performance edition in the front and 1x AF120 quiet edition in the front.
2x AF120 quiet edition in the side panel.
(4 fans outtake and 4 fans intake)

I hope i can solve this problem with some help!!
Greetings, Dexter

Download a program to check your cpu Vcore and report it here. Some good programs to check it with are CPUz or hwi info.

Did you remember to apply thermal paste when installing your cpu waterblock?
Also, have you overclocked?

first. i did not click on 'select as best answer' but ok.
I did check my thermal compound before and reapplied it not long ago.
I have not been overclocking my cpu.
I don't know what and how to change my vcore properly.
My corsair link says my pump is running at full speed.

Thanks for posting so far

Well, i reapplied the paste but what if i used a tiny bit to much.
When i start my computer after 18 hours not using it, it shoots in 3 minutes from 60 to 95??
I think i will reapply it again and only put on a tiny pee-size paste? rly tiny then,,

I disconnected the h100i heatsink and cleaned everything from thermal paste.
I put new arctic silver 5 on the cpu. rly small amount and I reinstalled the h100i.
I started my pc and played bf4 for about 15 minutes with on my second screen the temperatures from FAN Xpert 2 and Corsair Link.
The temperatures started at 45 and went up to 93 after 15 minutes then i shut bf down.
Now after 5 minutes of bf it's still 53 degrees, I think that is to much.
When I had no problems at all the temperature started at 35 and now it starts at 46 most of the times.
And when i start bf it just keeps going up and up like something isn't removing the heat well enough.
It did before but now it doesn't...
When it says 94 degrees, 1 of the 2 hoses on the h100i is very very hot. (ofcourse)
But maybe it's not removing the heat well enough but why I don't understand, what could cause this because as said before I had no troubles before.
