Ok so while I was out today the weather turned to a storm which appears to have taken out the power for a bit, the power is on now but when I went to launch my computer I got some "Bootmgr is missing" error (I have encountered this many times before and usually fixed it by changing the sata ports to my Hard drives. But this time, it simply got to the same screen but said "Loading Operating System" with a flashing "-" I have been stuck with this for about 3 hours and have been searching for many solutions but found none.

If someone has any solutions please let me know ASAP.

System Specs (off the top of my head should they be of use)
Intel i7 processor
12gb RAM
nVidia Geforce GTX 480
I have 3 Hardrives, (2x1TB 1x2TB)

Solution
that is not good indication. the SATA controller on your harddrive maybe damaged or the harddrive maybe failing. if you have a spare blank harddrive (or buy one) try to install the OS onto the new drive and hope you can retrieve the data off the other drive.
probably not what you want to see, but i hope that helps
