I have just recently bought Battlefield 4 through origin, I have a Sony VAIO laptop model: SVF1521DCXW. When i bought the laptop i was told that it was able to handle this game. Though every time i try to start the game up i get a message saying 'Battlefield 4 has stopped working'. I have seen other posts were people can join or play for a while and then they get dropped, but i cant even start the game. Any ideas as to why this is happening, and are there any sure fixes for the problem. I have tried re-installing the game, origin, DirectX, punkbuster etc. Nothing seems to work for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Solution
i have googled it and the laptop has a 740M gpu with 1gb video ram so it should run it try to download latest drivers for gpu at www.geforce.com many laptops come with old drivers so download new ones and also for your motherboard from the manufacturers company site and last thing try to lower the games graphics setting by going in documents > battlefield 4 > setting (right click on setting and open it with not or word pad..and lower the texture anti aliasing and ambient occlusion set all of their value to 0 and right click on game short cut and run it as administrator ) also update your .net framework and microsoft visuals c++ ..hope this will help.
