What does Status:End of life mean? (cpu)

Solution

It means that they are not manufacturing it any more. That CPU is fine for everything at the moment- it's just that Intel have recently released the new 4XXX range of CPUs so they are stopping making and selling the last get 3XXX range now.

Yep, as cdrkf said, it simply means the line of CPU is no longer being manufactured. Most CPUs hit "end of life" a couple years after they release, and still continue to run everything fine for several years after that. It's really just an arbitrary title that means the company has released something newer.

Perhaps you can find what you are looking for by using our search feature? i would also like to give to cdrkf but he have best answer which for some reason don't give me to thumb his useful comment.

Thanks for the best answer :)

To be honest I think that 3350p would cope fine at higher resolution than that. No issue running at 1920 x 1080 for example. The key to playing at higher resolution is Graphics Card and Ram.

A recent core i5 (2000 seriese or newer) is plenty for all current games, you wouldn't gain much by upgrading even to the new 4770 i7.
