Its says Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs. So how do I update a BIOS.

Since you have an Asrock motherboard and the BIOS is part of the motherboard, you will need to go to the Asrock web site to find the BIOS update and the instructions for installing it.
