Help upgrading my computer to run games better

Hello, I am having issues with my computer running games such as Rust and Tom Clancy's
Ghost Recon Phantoms. I am not sure what the issue is though because I have plenty of RAM. Here is my computer...
AMD Six-Core FX-6120 Processor
10GB DDR3 System Memory
1TB Hard DRive
AMD Radeon HD 7450 graphics card

the weakest component here is your video card. what power supply are you currently using?

also do you know the make and model number of your motherboard?

My power supply is the wall behind my computer haha. I have no idea.

i would recommend a video card upgrade, but you must find out what kind of power supply you have before doing so. is this a name brand pc or was it built for you?

Is your PC OEM, I usually see 7450's in OEM computers and if that's the case you'll also need a new power supply when you upgrade your graphics.

It is an HP Envy. Sorry I am not a huge computer techy haha.

Ok, So you'll have to buy a graphics card and possibly a power supply. What's you budget?

the only card i would recommend that would work with your current power supply would be a 750ti. anything more than that, and you will need a better psu.

BTW my main issue is LAG. It makes a lot of FPS games un-playable because the lag is so bad.

Humm, are Rust and Tom Clancy the most entensive games you play? If they are I would get a 750 TI and call it a day.
