So a few days ago I got my watercooling and killed my mobo by miswiring the lights. Now I got a new mobo but before I kill it, I would like to know EXACTLY how to wire my lights. Not quite sure how to post pics, so here goes: my cold cathode inverter has a wire leading to a four pin male molex. Now out of that molex comes the inverter power, which appears to use only 2 wires: one yellow and one black. But the four pins also go to another 4 pin molex female. I also have 2 led's for my water block that go to a black molex with male on one side and female on the other. I am really confused as how to wire this. I have a modular psu btw, all cables that go to it are 6 pin. I have a male molex to 6 pin, but the molex has only 3 pins. I also have a 4 pin male molex to 4 pin female molex, with what appears to be a 2 pin mobo connector branching out of the back of the male part of aforementioned cable. Anyone who can tell me what goes into what so I don't short anything out would be a huge help. Thanks!

Solution
Either take the computer to a reputaible shop or forget the lighting, dont ruin another motherboad to be "pretty".

With pictures I can tell you what to hook up but your informaiton in just one continous paragraph it is a mess to try to follow; but given that you already destroyed one motherboard there is a lot to chace from trying to tell you what to hookup.

Solution
If you can post pics that would help but if those are CCT inverters those are for female molex are for daisy chaining multiple inverters. The two set of wired goes to the tube.

Most tubes now come with the inverter built in so are you even sure that you need the inverter?
