hello just a quick question i have a gigabyte 7790 2gb card connected to a panasonic 50 inch tv through hdmi witch i play games on and watch films but every now and then my sound goes all distorted could it be card or tv

if the tv works with no problems on that same hdmi input, with other hdmi devices, i would say its the video card. can you test with another device?

if not, try updating your video drivers.
