Hi!

Whenver i run a stress test for my CPU my monitor, mouse and keyboard all turn off simoultaneously. First i thought it was my graphics card (r9 290 OC Tri-x) sucking the life out of my PSU because it was happening while gaming (BF4 for example). 10 - 20 minutes into the game the monitor, keyboard and mouse turned off but the PC was still running. I couldnt reset it though. I could only turn it off with the PSU power switch. Runing Heaven GPU stress test on extreme for 2 hours was successful but when i started the IntelBurnTest, the PC did the same thing as soon as the temps went over 50C (it was roughly 55C according to hwinfo64). The temps went up slowly but when it reached 50 it sort of jumped to 54 and shut down... Max safe temp for my CPU is 62C but with my after-market cooler it never went over 52C. Graphic card does go as high as 78C-80C.

My Rig:
*Mobo: Gigabyte 970DS3P
*Proc: FX 8350 (no OC)
*Gpu: Sapphire r9 290 tri-x OC (no additional OC on my part)
*Psu: LC-Power 650w bronze 80+
*Ram: Crucial Ballistix 2 x 8gb 1866 (no OC)

No sadly enough i don't. It just seems weird that the 300w GPU didn't crash the PC and the 125w Cpu did... Nothing in this PC is older than 4 months... Except the HDD..

So the main suspect is the PSU? Funny thing is that warm air was coming out from all exaust fans except the PSU one :). That one was quite cold. I will try and get a new and better PSU ASAP and test it... Thank you so far for your help. Ps sry about my english..

Okey i was looking for a suitable PSU for this system of mine and found this product:

http://www.aerocool.us/strikex%20power/strikex_power%20800w.htm

It has a single rail with 66 Amps. Is Aerocool known for quality products? It costs 95 euros. Keep in mind i am looking for components in the lower price range but with acceptable quality.
