Hi; a friend brought over a keyboard controller. i d/l the driver for it. We dropped the idea and now, weeks later, i decide to delete it. Windows 7 says "windows can't complete this action because the folder or a file in it is open in another program" I'm not aware of any programs related to this thing. i don't do midi at all. How can i delete the driver? thank you!

Could be something related to it that's running in the background and therefore easily overlooked.
Make sure that nothing related to the item you are trying to uninstall is not running in the system tray or under the "Processes" tab of the Task Manager.

Can't see anything that's using the keyboard or keyboard driver. Try starting in Safe Mode and then uninstall it.
