Building a gaming PC, all of my games are purchased online except Battlefield 4. Is it worth paying extra money just to install windows and battlefield? Can't I do it through a USB?

Also my mobo is 3.0 usb but my case is 2.o will it still work?

Well an optical drive is cheap, $25 with shipping online.

I'm not sure if this is an option for you, but could you download Battlefield 4 instead like the rest of your games?

I've never moved newer games on to USB before, but I would imagine there is some anti-copyright protection from having you just make 10 usb copies of the game.

Installing windows from usb is just as easy as installing from CD though. Just need to change bios settings to boot from USB.

Also, not sure what you mean by the mobo/case reference.

I already had an optical DVD drive and I recently added a blu-ray drive... So you could probably guess what my answer is going to be. Yes, I think an ODD is worth it, considering for an extra ~$20 you'll have the capability to watch DVDs and install any games that aren't available online easily.
