I recently got a second monitor, and ever since then my PC randomly (but often) loses pings to the router and is just generally very slow and basically unuseable. All other PCs in the house are still connecting fine and when I unplug the second monitor from the graphics card, my connection returns to normal.
My boyfriend thinks I need a wireless repeater (I'm on a different floor and across the house from the router) but if the monitor is causing some sort of interference affecting the signal, I'd rather fix that problem than bandaid it with a repeater.
I thought maybe the power supply was overtaxed somehow with the second monitor, but using this calculator, it looks like I'm well above the required wattage. (it says 560, I have a 750 watt power supply).
Sometimes I can wiggle the wireless antenna and make my connection sort of come back, but it's just never stable with the second monitor plugged in.

I just don't really know what to replace or troubleshoot! I could probably use a wireless card upgrade but I'd like to know what the problem is first so I know if the new one would fix it. Thank you for reading!
