Router disconnecting from certain devices.

I have a Netgear WNDR3700v4. I use a desktop, laptop, cellphone, and PS3. Before I bought this router, my PS3 would disconnect when watching Netflix. Buying the new router (WNDR3700v4) fixed that. However, now my desktop and laptop intermitently disconnect and reconnect and I cannot access the internet from my cell phone even though it is clearly connected to my router. Is this an ISp problem? I would think not considering changing routers seems to have an effect. Thanks in advance!

first question, out of curiosity, was your last router a linksys?

now, this is not an ISP issue. if it were (assuming this is your router, and not provided by your ISP), all devices would lose connection simultaneously.

how long have you had this router?

have you tried to update the firmware? if the router has the latest firmware, it might possibly be a bad router. these units aren't made like they used to be.
