well i have my cooler master seidon 120v on a fx 6300 oc'd a lil but i notice in ai suite that changing the cpu fan speed does nothing bearing in mind im sure its not good to have pump running at 2400rpm all the time and propbably isnt as efficient does anyone have a solution ?

Solution
The pump should not be connected to the CPU FAN header unless the fan is set to run at full speed all the time. The pump needs +12V to keep from damaging itself. Lowering the RPM in BIOS (or any other manner) will lower the voltage to the pump and cause damage. I usually connect to a non-controllable SYS FAN header.
