Which Card Should i Buy?

I'm tossing up about whether i should get the Sapphire Vapor-X R9 290 or the Sapphire Tri-x R9 290X? I'm no sure if it really worth spending the extra $120 on the 290x.

I would say no, its not worth spending an extra $120 on the 290x. If I were you though, get a gtx 780. Beats both of those cards. Otherwise, 290 should be sufficient. I don't feel like the fps difference between the 290 and 290x warrant an extra $120.
