I reset my slow running and BSOD ridden Toshiba laptop and after everything was done and I got to the desktop a popup showed up saying "Windows detected a hard drive problem." I ran chkdsk /r about four hours ago and it has been stuck on 27% since then. I looked and everything about 27% has to do with tune up programs. I ran one on the laptop before I reset it but since it has been completely wiped of everything why is it hanging up. Anyone have any info?

"my slow running and BSOD ridden Toshiba laptop" followed by chdsk failing to run might indicate severe probs with your HDD, best run a diagnostic...
