Should I use both bridge ports if I am 2 way sli'ing?

I haev two msi GTX 760 ITX editions in 2 way sli, it had to bridge ports so right now I have both cards connected with both bridge ports, is this advantageous?

nope, only the singe one is needed. 3/4 way SLI using both bridge ports are used.
