Is the RAM slot too close to the PCI-e slot?

I want to add an 11-inch GPU to this micro ATX board, but it looks like the RAM slot clip may get in the way of the card. If that is the case, can I take off, or at least sand down the RAM clip?

Wow that's pretty assinine design.

It's just going to mean that every time you want to add/remove RAM from that slot, that you need to pull out your PCI card first. The slot itself is just high enough that it will not interfere with most graphics cards. Be wary of high end cards with backplates though.
