Hi. For the past few days my Internet has been disconnecting more than normal, and with it my time and date has been going out of sync randomly and often. I am able to reconnect by unplugging and plugging my Ethernet cable back in. Then every time my time is wrong, I have to re-sync it to the internet. I have heard this maybe the cause of a dead CMOS battery, but I have not been using my motherboard (ASUS Z87-A) for more than a year. Also how could a dead CMOS affect my internet connection?
