I have been looking about and get people asking about dual screens but nothing this specific.
I have a HP EliteBook 8460p laptop on Windows 7. I run a Monitor on the DVI and the laptop screen. I have a 17inch Philips VGA connected monitor that I want to run as well as the other 2.
I can either (at the moment) extend the desktop onto the main 24inch monitor and the 17inch monitor or the 24 inch and the laptop screen.
What I want to do is have it on both monitors (one on VGA one on DVI) and keep the laptop running. Is this possible.
My colleague has the same setup but is running ubuntu and it displays on all three with no issue. So it seems hardware wise it is possible, the difference is Win 7.
