Hi, my laptop cannot connect to a network as it cannot find any? Well, the network icon has a star on it and says that it has networks available. However, when I press on it, there is no airplane mode or wifi toggle and no networks are listed. All there is, is the title 'Network', connection settings and troubleshoot problems. I have tried restarting my laptop and troubleshooted the problem but no problems were found. Also, the sidebar looks like as if the 'connection settings' and 'troubleshoot problems' links are covering the network list and toggles. Any help is appreciated, thank youScreenshot1, Screenshot2

My laptop specs are:
intel 4702MQ 2.2GHz (3.2Ghz) (4th Gen)
intel hd 4600 (integrated)
nvdia gt 740m (dedicated) - 2gb GDDR3
500gb 7200rpm hard drive
8gb RAM DDR3 1600MHz
windows 8.1 (64bit)
802.11n (dont remember the intel adapter model, im sure this problem is to do with an OS bug/glitch)

I have used my wifi for a few months and suddenly one day, no networks could be connected.
