Where did you buy it from and how long have you had it?

Beyond that, flash drives can sometimes just be bad, is it possible to get a refund on it?
As you can see, there are many variables at play. It is more than likely not worth the time or trouble to research how to fix a $15 drive that might be not be fixable.
