I would suggest that you go with a GTX 780 Ti 6 GB version when that comes out. The GTX Titan Black 6 GB is slightly over your budget and the R9-295X2 8 GB is way too pricey.

because you want to play battlefield 4 i would say go with the 290x as I've heard that battlefield 4 was optimized for AMD chips. if you didn't want to actually play games i would have suggested either a quadro series or fire pro series graphic chips (they are workstation graphics cards specifically optimized to handle 3d imaging and such). however the 290x should have no problem doing the same because its already one of AMD's top video cards

Hello so as you develop games and playing battlefield 4... Which is an very gpu heavy task so I would suggest the nVidia Titan black as it has 6gb of gddr5 memory which will help graphic heavy tasks.. Another competitor will be gtx 780ti but it has 3gb only.... BTW wait for i7 4790k to come out.... It will come out in June... Why I say to wait is as it's base clock is 4ghz and is overclockable and I think is octa core.... Get a CPU cooler eg corsair h100i and you will be able to over clock it to 5ghz easy..(that's what Intel says)... Conclusion get a nVidia Titan (black for higher clock) it performs bit slower than gtx 780ti but is an all rounder work station gpu cause of the memory also 3d max will work like a charm on it And I guarantee 60+ fps on 1440p for bf4 Also wait for i7 4790k..
