Hello,

I know that this topic runs the risk of turning into a console war, so I apologize in advance if it goes that way. I have both the consoles right now and I have the opportunity to sell the Xbox One right now. I don't know why it is such a hard decision for me. I mean, I guess they are pretty much the same and the only thing advantage about having both is the exclusives for each console. What sucks is having to pay for both subscription services.

One thing that keeps running through my mind is how certain games for the Xbox 360, Madden, in particular, seem to run and look better on the 360 than on the PS3. I can't help but wonder if this is going to be the same this generation. I played Madden for the PS4, but not one the One. I guess I could rent it or something to compare. Believe it or not, this is one reason that could have me decide to keep the One.

What about the Kinect, or the lack there of? I mean, there are reports that the One will become more powerful than it is now when not using the Kinect. Is there any possibility of that happening?

I don't know...as you can see, I am very confused and can't make a damn decision on this because I feel that if I get rid of it, I will be missing out on something. I am definitely keeping my PS4, so the what it boils down to is to sell the Xbox One or not.

I hope that made some sort of sense and I really hope that this does not turn into a war.

Thanks for reading and thank you in advance for your responses.

You have a PS4, Xbox one and a decent PC. Keep them all and remember, it feels good to be king :)

lol...yeah. I don't know. I was wondering if it is worth keeping the One because the PS4 is supposed to be more powerful.I was also thinking how many One exclusives will make their way to the PC, kind of like Titanfall did.

One of the reasons I was thinking about selling it is to build a new rig :p . And, I don't know if I want to spend $120 a year for subscriptions for both consoles.

Microsoft does have a problem with keeping exclusives, a lot of the time they are either timed exclusives, are also available on PC, or if they launch a franchise the sequels all wind up getting released on Playstation as well. The fact that Xbox One has sold a lot fewer units than PS4 also makes it not the most attractive system to launch an exclusive on thanks to a smaller install base, so Microsoft would have to pay through the nose to get exclusives.

I probably wouldn't keep the Xbox One unless you really want to play one of the few games that is actually exclusive to that system and will stay that way, you really like the Kinect, or all your friends only have Xbox One and that is the only way to play with them.

Keep them all, the x1 is going to start using the cloud to improve games in the future, the sales figures are still dodgy due to the ps4 being worldwide longer than the x1,Im picking up a ps4 soon and if you shop smart you can cut down the price of the subs though in my eyes im paying for 2 subs that cover 4 consoles.

Thanks for the response.

That is kind of what I was thinking. The only game that I am playing on it now is Titanfall, but I would be able to play that on the PC, too. I haven't played Dead Rising 3 or Ryse, yet, but I wouldn't mind checking them out. Quantum Break looks pretty good, too.

Edit:

Callam Kitcher:

Yeah, that is one of the deciding factors. I don't know if I want to pay for 2 subscription fees.
