So I bought a new water cooling unit and had major trouble taking off the old cooler. Like major trouble as you can see from the pictures below.
When I try to boot it up quickly to see if it works with just the remaining thermal paste, the computer turns on, the hard drive spins and the monitor light briefly turns blue like it got a connection but then flushes yellow like no connection. Would all those scratches mess up the video?
I can get a nice MSI motherboard tomorrow but want to make sure that's the problem. The video card works in another computer by the way.
