Hello,

I have just installed a new corsair 750 watt psu, along with a radeon r9 270x gpu. I've ran into a big problem. When I try to turn on the system I just get a black screen with a yellow light on my monitor as it's not receiving a signal. I am sure that the card is seated correctly. I have made sure to connect both six pin cords for power. If my machine has a beeper in it I cannot here it either. The PCI port is not damaged as I can put my old graphics card into it and it works just fine.
My computer is an HP h8-1010. I have the intel i5 processor not sure number, it is dual core, with 8gbs of ram. Only thing I have changed on the system is the psu, everything is stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And sorry new to this forum, I thought I had given this as a question.
To my knowledge it's not even getting past the post.

Put in the old GPU and remove its drivers with this: http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html

Then put in the new GPU and see if it works.

The old drivers might make the PC think it still has the old GPU in it even though it has the new one, creating all kinds of conflicts and preventing it from booting.
