I don't want people telling me that I should get an i5 or so on because it's too expensive to have to get a new motherboard as well as. Anyway, I was wondering how well this setup will run games in the future as watch dogs will support 8 cores and I just wanted to know if this will last for a good time.

FX 8350 will run as well as an i5 4670k in most well threaded / optimized titles.

You may see lower performance in older titles that only use 2-3 cores, but these are usually still very high framerates and playable on either.

My only questions are:

What motherboard do you have? Have you made sure it has good power phase on the VRU and can support an FX 8350?

pc dont have much "next gen", that is console talk, they have a fixed system for a big span of time.
but 770 and a fx 8350 is about as good as it gets for a reasonable price these days, just hope someone program a game that uses more cores in the future.

It's a Biostar a960d+. I know it isn't the best by far, but it supports the 8350.
