I built my PC about a year ago and just today when I turned it on, it has a ever so slight and tiny ticking noise coming from where my PSU is, now this noise has never occured before, but after going through with my mate, we came up with a few things that could be causing the problem, we thought it could be a loose wire in my PSU catching the fan or the bearing in the fan maybe needs lubing, we also recall the standoff screw in the top left by the PSU being really tight and probably a lot tighter than the rest now we thought that because the mobo being so tightly fitted at the corner by the PSU that it's perhaps vibrated so much that it's caused the others or itself. The noise isn't annoying or loud it's hardly noticeable you really have to listen for it, now I'm just a tad concerned with it as I spend a lot of money and worked hard to pay for it and currently not in a situation to spare cash to pay for replacement parts due to driving lessons and shit, so just wondering whether any of you guys agree with our theories for the cause or think it could be another thing.
