Motherboard just got wet!!

So as the stupid person i am, i just got my motherboard wet while building my pc. It was not plugged in so is it still possible to dry the motherboard and have no effect or will the motherboard still work?

Wet with what? How much? Where?

You could use canned air, gently, to speed up the process.
But let it dry thoroughly. Like a day or two.

Hit it with a hair dryer, then flip it upside down (in case water got in the slots) and let dry over some paper towels or cardboard.

Wet with water? OK
Wet from a can of Coke? Big difference. Hair dryer may make it worse.

If he got Coke on it, I'd say swab with isopropyl alcohol.
