Clunker Needing Help Badly to Upgrade!

My Doofus Niece bought a PC off Craigslist..

What seems clear that happened is after she made the purchase they took the PC out of her sight and raped all the ram leaving only 512k and one small HD in the machine.

It would not even boot with 512k after that, after showing her that it had Windows 8 Installed and ran fine. They seen her coming and snatched all the best guts!

I formatted and got Vista Ultimate to run on it but am at a loss as to what Memory the Motherboard will accept.

MOTHERBOARD SPECS: INTEL D91gag/D915PSY

Looking for idea of TYPE of ram needed to fill all four slots that it will accept etc.

Aside from the DESPERATE NEED FOR RAM!!!

What I realllllly need is the NIC (Network Driver) card driver and the Chipset drivers for this Motherboard running Vista Ultimate as well..

Your going to need some old-school DDR RAM (not 2 or 3). Though, I'll be honest may not be worth it. That kind of memory is hard to find nowadays and commands a respectable price along with it.

So, DDR is all the Motherboard will accept?
Not DDR2 even?

Can you dig a little maybe and see if you can find something larger than 256 or 512 *laugh*
Anywhere near Dayton, Ohio Craigslist or Ebay.

1gb each chip (or larger) in each of the four slots would be GREAT!
I mean it is a 3.2ghz CPU which ain't too hateful.

I could not find what ram that Intel Board will accept specifically is why I posted here..
Even with all the details I scrounged up..

I just ordered 4 of them..
Now... Mr. Genius Huge Frontal Lobe Brainiac..
How about finding me the Chipset drivers and the NIC (network card) driver for that board? *Pulling Hair Out*

I am currently using my wireless Netgear pci card now with it and remote to it via my MASTER KICK THE WORLD'S BUTT COMPUTER I custom built now... Muahahhaa

Maybe we can swap FTP and show off all our old time warez sometimes.. Mine go back to 120 Traven Drives.

BASTAGES!
If you have anything older than a week they discontinue it and force you to upgrade.. Well, a week is a bit soon, but you get the point..

What I did do is.. My DX/4 100 had 1.5gb total so I snatched a 512 from it and made both the 3.2ghz and the DX/4 100 have 1gb ram for each machine.

They are for the kids and I shared my two 2TB drives full of every movie you can think of and complete tv-shows/series with them off my custom Best Kick Arse Computer Master-PC in the world (toor) for now at least till the ram gets delivered.

There's over 2500 shows on there to shut them up and keep them outta my/our hair.

4TB should shut them up at least an hour LOL

Hugs and thanks for the help! I am only now making individual logins for them and setting permissions so they cannot mess stuff up unless on the master account. UGH!

I hate Vista but my nieces hates it.. She is the one that is to be using it soooooo....

I had XP Pro on it and everything working like a champ and still could not sell her on it..
BUT NOOOOOOOOO!!!
