wheni try to boot the dvd then it end up like this
file:\$windows.-BT\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WINLOAD.EXE
STATUS :0X000000F
INFO: THE SELECTED ENTRY COULD NOT BE LOADED BECAUSE THE APPLICATION IS MISSING OR CORRUPT
NOW FRIENDS WAT SHALL I DO
Do you have more than one hard drive installed in your system? If yes, try disconnecting every drive except the primary boot drive and obviously the DVD drive. Then try to run setup and see what happens.
You could also try booting into System Repair with the DVD and at a command prompt try the following command:
copy c:\windows\system32\boot\winload.exe c:\windows\system32\
I have seen that suggested elsewhere and it worked for some people with the same problem.
thanks for the reply bro but its a dell laptop , i never opened it before myself , and also my inbuild dvd drive is a problem , so i am inserted an external drive , so now pls wat shall i do
Before attempting to reinstall make sure you go into the BIOS and change the boot order so that it boots from the external drive. I assume the external drive in question is an optical drive.
