Hello there! I have been experiencing some issues with my copy of Windows 8.1 Professional 64bit. It's fully updated and has been installed with Update 1.
My problem is; The PC will give a completely black screen, yet the monitor still shows a input. I am unable to do anything to get out of this black screen so have to do a hard reboot.
I have the latest drivers installed for everything in my system and I'm virus and junk free.
What's happening?
Specs:
Intel Core i5 4670K @3.40GHz (Turbo 3.80GHz)
MSI B85M-G43
Powercolour AMD R9 290 (Reference)
8GB Kingston HyperX Blu 1600MHz
1x 750GB Hitachi & 1x 500GB Western Digital
Fractal Design Define R4 (White)
Corsair CX750M
