Hello,
There are lots of threads on this I know I know...But as a recommendation, what can you make for an Ultra quiet PSU? For some reason, in canada, no where stocks the Kingwin, Rosewell or superflower silent models (fanless). The Seasonic 520W fanless one is available, but I have heard of too many reviews of "Buzzing" or electrical humms, some of varying db's..
Are there any other recommendations out there? Looking at a 450 - 600 watt, even with a fan as long as the DB's rating is low. I was looking at the Be-quiet 500W L8 for $80, but still looking.

Interesting, I noticed the hybrid feature on the XFX XTR, not too many reviews but is it a fairly inaudible unit? (I will be running passive vid card, silent case, slower quiet fans, so it will be a really quiet case, dont want the psu to overtake the case lol.)
How would it compare to some of the corsairs? HX for example, and the Bequiet 00w L8?
If we only had the rosewill's or kingwins (fanless). Looking at the XFX though for curiosity, silence is key, for mic recording etc... too.

Is the seasonic fanless available?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CJq83f...
I would give it a try, and if it buzzes, return it?

Thanks for the responses everyone! The Fanless seasonic is available, just concerned as a large majority of reviews and forums note that high pitch buzz, some way stronger than the others. (If only we had the superflower fanless, this model has been noted to have little to none)
I'm leaning now for the Corsair series and XFX as both have the hybrid mode, out of curiosity...the corsairs fan doesnt kick in till 40%, does that mean on the 750 Watt, the system can push 300 watts before the fan kicks in, or is it fixed (certain temperature). Just debating now to get a high wattage or 550 watt.
My system is an MATX board, LGA 2011 processor, passive 640 GT card, 32 GB memory 2-3 case fans etc...no gaming, this is just an application specific system.
