Hi everyone
I have just tried to install my new H100i however the cable that splits off from the sata power cable is a 3pin female. On my motherboard (MSI Z87-GD65) there is no male 3pin fan connector?
What do I do? Or am I missing something
Thanks

you can connect it to a 4pin header as well. Even says so in the manual.

connect the 3 pin to the 4 pin cpu fan control header. just use the left 3 pins (I think) check the manual as said it will tell you which 3 to plug into

Although I'm a bit late with this answer I suppose I can answer this for anyone else running across this post. The Y cable that looks female is in fact a male cable with pin protection covers over them. When I installed my H100i it took me about 5 minutes to figure this out. Instructions aren't too helpful either :p
