Hi guys, I have a question.

I have a fan that came with a male and female molex. The female sticks off of the male molex btw. My question is, is it ok to plug my male molex to the female PSU molex and then plug the 4 pin connector to the mobo? The 4 pin connector attaches to the PSU's female molex. If that doesn't work can I just plug the fan's male in to the PSU's female? Please let me know. In the end, can it look like this? http://m.imgur.com/ZNjYY1F

You may run into problems with too much power like that. But I think what you're describing is to just connect the two molex's that are from the fan? I don't think that would be a problem, but also don't really see a point lol

It you talk about the fan ( in the picture it has the 3 pin connector ) like this http://www.censuspc.com/images/D/D14SH-12-1.jpg then you only need connect either the 3pin ( for your fan you use the 4pin ) into the MB or the 4pin molex into the PSU, but not use both of them in the same time.

I think he's trying to be neater with cabling and plug the female molex into the male molex leads (both from the fan) together, not plug in the 3-pin AND the molex to power.

Yes, assuming you don't also plug in the 3/4 pin to the motherboard.
