I am looking to upgrade my monitor for my home PC setup. I am on a 200$ (or less preferably :) ) budget. Currently I use a 27 inch crappy 720P TV and I am fed up and ready for a change. I play FPS/MOBA/MMO's but I am not competitive or very serious about any of them. Also I watch TV shows and/or movies using my setup. I could see myself sizing down to 23 inches if that is my best option, thought I have grown accostum to the 27 inch screen. Thanks in advance for any input!

If you are looking for the best deal possible, this would be appropriate. $120 after rebate and the coupon code listed on the site, it's a good monitor too. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?nm_mc=AFC-TechBargains&cm_mmc=AFC-TechBargains-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA&Item=N82E16824236175

Or if you want an IPS monitor, then get something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236335

IPS panels have better color quality, but sacrifice a small amount of gaming performance. Since you are not too serious about gaming, I would recommend the IPS monitor. I have the VN248h-p myself and it looks great.

I agree with either of Kekoh's recommendations.

I've got a couple of asus 24" 2ms response time monitors I'm fairly happy with. I previously had 30" IPS monitor that i WAS happy with, but it had a framerate locked at 60fps. It was beautiful to look at stuff on it though.
