VGA or USB3.0 to HDMI

I have a laptop with HDMI out and VGA out. I am using the HDMI out for an external monitor and my internal monitor. I am currently also using the VGA out for a 3rd monitor.

Would it be better quality to get a usb 3.0 to hdmi adapter or continue to use the vga for the 3rd monitor?

There shouldn't be any difference in quality and if there is it's probably imperceptible. If you were going from VGA to HDMI proper then I would say go for it because that difference is noticeable from my research. But going through a converter can't possibly be that much of an improvement over using VGA.

I've never had to use a converter, but the more power to you if you want to use it.
