Hi there!

Summer is here and finals are gone! Coupled with my birthday coming up in a week, I would like to build a gaming computer to have some fun over the break. I have been asking around for a few days, but have not found a definite build. There are so many options per part that I am a little lost, not to mention that some parts are incompatible with others. I was wondering if you guys have a proposed build that would help.

Approximate Purchase Date: I would like to purchase the parts as soon as possible (tonight).

Budget Range: $1100 to $1200 Before Rebates and After Shipping

System Usage: Gaming > Watching Movies > Surfing the Internet = Doing Homework > Video or Graphics Editing

Monitor Yes!

Operating System: Yes, preferably Windows 8.1 (unless Windows 7 is better).

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon or Newegg, whichever site is reliable, cheap, and (most important) easy on the shipping fees.

Location: Honolulu, HI, United States

Parts Preferences: Preferable Nvidia for the Physx

Overclocking: No, unless overclocking the CPU does not reduce its life by a lot.

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution Preferred: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I am especially interested in black cases and peripherals with blue LEDs. However, if a ton of money can be saved, I do not mind other options. This is my first build, so I want to make sure everything is compatible with each other and no problems will arise because I bought the wrong parts. I am also starting from scratch, so I do not have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. The games I am interested in playing would be Need for Speed Rivals, Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, Watch Dogs, and other next generation games. I have a ton of games that I have yet to play because I do not have the proper computer.

I have been playing around and came up with a few parts, but if you guys have anything better, I would really appreciate it.
