Hey guys!
Ive got a couple of questions about this card because my brothers birthday is coming up soon and i might buy him this card.
Would this card be good for playing these games on low - medium graphics?

World of tanks
Minecraft
EVE online
Payday 2 (i think this might be pushing the limit? ive heard this game is kinda poorly optimised?)
Battlefield 4
Counterstrike: source
Counterstrike: Global offensive
Skyrim
Thanks guys!

im unsure what his specs are atm, but i know this card is better than his one at the minute/

More about : couple questions amd 250x

I would say if you get the 2gb version it will be just fine. But it's a little older but at 2gb that version will handle those games no issue. However, if a gddr5 1gb card hits that same price point it will be a lot better. I would say get it if it is I fact the 2gb version but do not waste money on the 1gb version. Hope this helps and good luck.

There isn't much of a price difference between a regular priced 250x ($100) and a 260x that is on sale ($100). Quality power supplies are on sale quite often as well. XFX brand ones that are made by Seasonic usually are on sale for around $40. I got my XFX TS 550 for $27 after rebates. Just make sure to print the invoice after logging into merchant's website to get the rebate validated.

Double check the reviews on the 250x. I get a lot of screen tearing on my HD 7770 which is basically a 250x.
