I want to buy a new Samsung ATV IBOOK9 LITE(Np905S3) with an AMD Quad Core A6-3400M 1.40 GHz (4MB L2 Cache) processor, ATI RADEON HD8250M Graphic card and 128Gb SSD disk, 4 gb RAM DDR3 etc...Is it any better or equal to a quad core i3 or i5 Intel processor? it is quite light and easy to transfer plus that its a good price,499E, in comparison with mac airbook...Shal i buy it? Some help would be appreciated...Thnx...

First, that laptop doesn't have an A6-3400M, it has an A6-1450. Those APUs are completely different.
Second, answering your question, any i3 or i5 since the 2nd gen will outperform the A6-1450.
I know there are two models of the ATV iBook9, an AMD (the cheap one) and an Intel (the expensive one), both with touch and non-touch versions. If you're using it just for internet, office and watching videos, i think you can use the one with the AMD APU. Otherwise, go for the Intel one or the macbook.

i3 or i5's are much better than A4 and A6 processors. in some cases even the A8. they are just designed better to handle multitasking and such. what would you like to do with this? it helps determining the exact answer.
