New PSU not powering pc

Hello, I recently bought an XFX pro series 550watt PSU to replace an old PSU. However, when I connected it to all of my components and pressed the power button, nothing happens. I know it is receiving power because my mouse it lit up.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I am not sure but the same thing happens to me if I forget to connect the PCI-E connector to my video card. Beyond that, I have no idea without any additional information.

Sorry guys, false alarm. I finally figured it out after checking over my cable attachments, and noticed that I had somehow managed to royally screw up and attach the 6 pin PCIe cable to my CPU power connector lol. After plugging things back into their proper place, my pc works like a charm.

Thanks anyway for the help :D
