Intel i3 4130 vs amd fx6300 for gaming

Started buy parts for a budget gaming pc mainly to play elder scrolls online and a few other
I will upgrade the graphics card later in the year

Do you think it would be better to start with I3 then upgrade that or just get fx 6300 and keep it
Will the i3 play the games ok with that gpu
It doesn't have to be ultra high I'm happy with medium :)

I would get the i3 and the later upgrade to an i5 when you have a chance. If you can swing the price (~$90) get a H97/Z97 board and then you will be able to get (unless Intel changes its mind) an next gen i5 when they come out sometime next year.

I wouldn't worry about an upgrade too much until you upgrade your GPU as well.
