Upgrade CPU or GPU for gaming/rendering?

Hey guys . im stuck between either upgrading my gpu or cpu and i cant afford both.should i upgrade my amd fx 8350 to a 4930k extreme and an asus P9X79 Intel X79 motherboard. or upgrade my gpu from a gtx 670 ftw edition to a 780 ti? . Which would benefit me more for gaming and rendering videos for youtube etc as iv just started youtubing. i only have a 600 w corsair psu so i dont really want to SLI. any adivce please?

Upgrade your GPU, your frames will increase dramatically, after that upgrade your CPU. I upgraded from a 670 to 780ti as well and the difference in fps was alot.

It depends on the program from what information I can find. However you can do everything from the cpu or the gpu. But as a rule of thumb, gpu= Real time. Cpu = pre rendered. Hope this helps.

And his gpu upgrade would require a psu upgrade also, since the 780ti requires a 600w psu, before other items.

For gaming and rendering that CPU is fine. Get that GTX 780Ti.
