As the title suggests I would like to output sound though my monitor. The monitor I have is an Asus VX-238h with built in speakers and it's hooked though to my Graphics card a GTX 760 via HDMI cable. It have worked before but I switched to headphones recently and I just want to sit back and watch a youtube video in the morning without having to wear these sound caves on my ears every time.
I would like to output sound though monitor.

Go to control panel>sound>playback devices. Click on 'Nvidia HDMI output (Port X)' (whichever isn't grayed out) and click 'Set Default'.
NOTE: Select 'View by: Large icons' in control panel if you can't find the sound settings.
