I am upgrading the cooler on my current rig, AMD-FX8350. It's currently using the Corsair H70 cooler. 2 fans in a push+pull configuration. Temps are 35c-45c so far the cooler hasn't let the CPU go above 50c that I've noticed, I do a lot of file extraction, compression and i'm currently converting videos with Freemake and I worry that it might push the CPU beyond its limits, I did run Freemake it took 5 hours to convert HD videos and "Speccy" a program I use to monitor thermal temps showed it was running around 53c and not any higher. Plus the computer was doing multiple tasks as well.

Now all that was with the Corsair H70.

I'm going to upgrade to either the H80i or H90. However I noticed that the dimensions are different for each model.

The Corsair H80i's fan Dimensons are 120x120x25 (Neweggs specs list) and I've installed 3 of these into Antec 1200 cases for clients, the last for my dad who bought a 3770k, the stock fan was junk. It dropped his temps by a lot.

H70 Specs
Corsair Radiator Dimensions: 275x122x27
Corsair H70 Fan Dimensions: 120x120x25

H80 Specs
Corsair Radiator Dimensions: 120x152x38
Corsair H80 Fan Dimensions: 120x120x25

H90 Specs
Corsair Radiator Dimensions: 140x170x27
Corsair H90 Fan Dimensions: 140x25

And just for kicks

H100 Specs
Corsair H100 Radiator Dimensons: 120x275x27
Corsair H100 Radiator Dimensons: 120x120x25

The H90 I know won't fit into the Antec 1200 case due to its dimensons, However I am looking at the H80i because I've put the H80i into 3 of the Antec 1200 cases and Antec 900 cases. However I looked at the H90 i'm interested in it, but my concern is I don't want to order something if its not going to fit and I have to do some major case modifications. So my choices are H80, and maybe H100, the back of the Antec case has 2 fan spots but again i'm worried about the dimensions not matching up.

So which would be my best bet to purchase the H80 or H100? I'm down to these two choices. I've used the H70 for almost 18 months now and I want to move it to another computer I have, it was originally part of my AMD Phenom X6 1090t build, and the CPU temps on that were 25c idle/30 max (no overclocking)

I ask for help because I upgraded my desktop to the FX-8350 Eight Core. I'm not overclocking it (yet), when I get the right Corsair water loop kit I might possibly try.

So which should I get that will fit the Antec 1200 case. This is an older model case, not 1200v3 with USB 3.0 in the front. The rear fan dimensions are two blue LED 120mm fans

Sorry the message is so long I felt it was best to put all available information for those who can help, I appreciate it.

Solution
Stick with the H80i just to be safe. As long as you do not overclock it too much, your cpu should stay within reasonable temps. However, if you do plan on doing mild overclocking, I would get a new case and an H110. I'm pretty sure that the H110 will not fit the Antec 1200.
