Hey guys, I built my PC myself about 2 years ago and recently I've had an issue where I try to turn on the PC with the button however it won't turn on. Now Its not like it turns on then dies or goes to post screen then crashes. It just will not turn on. No fans spinning no sound, no disk activity LED or power LED. The weird thing is that the Psu is still providing home type of power because my USB powered LEDS (that are plugged into the mobo) remain on until I turn off the PSU switch or unplug it from the wall. Also I think it's important to mention that my mobo has this feature where it provides power to USB ports even if the PC is off, this is probably what keeps the leds on. Like I said for my PC to turn on again I have to manually switch off and back on the PSU. NOTE that this happens very infrequently, maybe once or twice every 2 months. At this point I don't know if it's an issue with the mobo or the psu. Any help would be appreciated, my specs are in my signature. Cheers

Check the PSU!

There is a very high chance it is the PSU because you have to cycle power to it.
